Academic, research, sporting and professional achievement.
The university records student achievement in four categories. Entries are added once the achievement is documented and the student has consented to publication.
Categories recognised

| Academic distinction | Highest aggregate in a programme, or first division with distinction |
| Research | Published paper, patent filing, or funded project participation |
| Sport | Representation at inter-university, state or national level |
| Professional | Selection in campus recruitment, competitive examination, or higher study admission |
Merit awards
Students placed first in each programme at the end of an academic year are recognised at the annual function. The examination cell certifies the ranking from the declared results; rankings are not published before results are final.
Adding an achievement
Students and alumni may submit an achievement for inclusion through the contact page, attaching documentary evidence. Submissions are verified by the department concerned before publication, and nothing is published without the individual’s written consent.
